Willow Planting
Preventing stream bank erosion
is an important step in stabilizing a river system and filtering contaminents while also providing valuable cover for insects
and small fish. Native willows are harvested during the winter's dormant period for rooting and planting in early spring.

Stream Opening
An essential factor in preserving
a naturally reproducing population of trout is ensuring access to spawning areas. Each fall we evaluate the spawning tributaries
in our areas to ensure they are passable for breeding fish and clear passages as needed.
Vibert Boxes
To help
reestablish brown trout population in streams which streams, which have lost their natural reproduction, we've established
a vibret box program, utilizing fertilized eggs planted in streams to resemble natural reproduction.

Highway Clean-Up
By cleaning up local highways we not only esthetically benefit our communities
but also prevent litter and other contaminants from entering the river system. This increases the quality of the fishing experience
as well as the fishing.
